China first quarter rubber additives industry business data report

April 2022, China Rubber Industry Association released the first quarter rubber additives industry business data report.

The report shows that from January to March, the rubber additives industry, a number of major operating indicators, to achieve double-digit growth.

Among them, the output of accelerant was 101,400 tons, up 5.49%; The output of antiaging agents was 82,900 tons, down 8.8 percent.

According to the analysis, the three indicators of industrial output value, sales revenue and export value increased significantly in the first quarter, mainly due to the continuation of the situation of export in the fourth quarter of 2021 and the completion of overseas orders.

However, due to the surge in domestic energy and upstream raw materials, the increase in corporate income did not increase profits.

The European market for replacement tyres grew 9 per cent in the first quarter and 10 per cent for commercial tyres, according to the European Tyre and Rubber Manufacturers' Association (ETRMA).

Passenger tires rose 4.7% in the first quarter and commercial tires rose 5.5%, according to the American Tire Manufacturers Association.

These have driven rubber auxiliaries export to achieve strong growth.
